Korean War Veterans Memorial, District of Columbia
Located in Washington DC, this memorial was built to commemorate those who died in the Korean War. The main memorial was designed in the form of a triangle intersecting a circle. Inside the circle there are 19 stainless steel statues that represent different arms of the services. Inside the the circle there is also the Pool of Remembrance and the inscriptions listing the soldiers wounded, killed and missing in action.
