   Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Georgia

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Georgia. Founded in 1700, it is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah. The construction features the French Gothic style and the outside is a solemn white. The cathedral boasts fabulous architecture, exquisite decoration and striking stained-glassed windows.
