   Gettysburg National Military Park, Pennsylvania


The park is one of the federal properties in Adams County, Pennsylvania. It features the Gettysburg Battlefield, a number of supporting areas and memorials to commemorate those who lost their lives in the battle. The battlefield has been restored to its historical non-wooded conditions, and orchards and woods that no longer exist have been replanted, to give visitors an idea of the historic landscape.
