32-year-old Yang Huiyan has become the richest woman of China in 2013 with 51 billion yuan (US$8.33 billion), according to Hurun China's Women Rich List 2013 released on Tuesday. This is her second time to claim the top spot in five years.

Most women on the list are engaged in the real estate industry, coming to a total of 25 percent. An additional 18 percent of the women work in the financial and investment industries, which is double the ratio of men. On the other hand, only 9 percent of the women are engaged in manufacturing, only half the ratio of the men.

The minimum financial requirement for those featured on the list stands at 3.6 billion yuan (US$587.5 million), up by 28.5 percent year-on-year, making it the highest financial condition in the list's history.

In addition, Guangdong ranked No.1 on this year's list in terms of the women's location, with 17 women in total hailing from the southern province, followed by Beijing and Shanghai, respectively numbers nine and six on the list.
