Typhoon Cora(台风科拉)
Typhoon Cora started out on Aug. 30, 1966, and attained peak winds of 175 mph (280 km/h) on Sept. 5. When the storm passed near Okinawa, it caused major damage to the island’s infrastructure, but luckily no loss of life. It then hit northeast China as a super typhoon on the 7th and South Korea on the 9th.
