The Great Blue Hole is a large submarine sinkhole off the coast of Belize. Formed during the last ice age, the hole is circular in shape, over 300 meters across and 124 meters deep. As a part of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve, a World Heritage Site of the UNESCO, the hole features crystal-clear water, multi-colored stalactites and stalagmites, Caribbean reef shark and other rare fish species. Just imagine diving in the blue clear water with sharks, parrotfish and octopuses swimming beside you in this natural wonder!
