Duck blood soup one of the most famous and most popular traditional foods in Nanjing as well as in China. The soft vermicelli are soaked in delicious soup, and are topped with bits of duck liver, gizzard, cubes of duck blood and deep-fried firm tofu. One bowl of soup takes less than a minute to make, however, the lines of people waiting for the dish are still unbelievably long.
