The average employment rate after six months for college students who graduated in 2014 has risen by 0.7 percent to 92.1 percent according to the 2015 Chinese College Graduates Employment Report published by educational assessment firm MyCOS last week.

Among all college majors, Nursing is the most employable with the average employment rate of 97 percent.

However, students who majored in Applied Physics, Theater Arts Performance, and Music Performance on average have to spend more time searching for a job before they start their career.

The research also found that game designers, Internet developers, and computer software application engineers were the three highest-paying jobs for college graduates last year.

The followings are the top 10 majors with lowest employment rate:

   Biotechnology (生物技术)

Employment rate (6 months after graduation): 88.5 percent
