Stäubli is a Swiss mechatronics company, focusing on textile machinery, connectors and robotics products. Its robotics division was founded in 1982. The company produces Scara robots, 4-axis robots, 6-axis robots and other types of robots for industrial automation. Stäubli robots are used in plastics, electronics, photovoltaics, life sciences and many other fields.
The entire company generates an annual turnover surpassing one billion Swiss francs (about US$1.03 billion), according to its website.
