Yan Song
Yan Song (1480-1567) was a prime minister during the reign of the Wanli Emperor (1563-1620) in ancient China's Ming Dynasty. He was also good at calligraphy and composing poems. He was widely regarded as a treacherous official who raised money by selling official ranks and titles, as well as embezzling soldiers' pay and provisions. But some historians consider that he also had a loyal side, was good at choosing and employing people and had outstanding achievements.
