8. Cycling around Qiandao Lake

Qiandao Lake, or Thousand-Island Lake, is located in Chun'an county, Zhejiang province. The lake features 1,078 islands scattered across its waters and is a famous spot for sightseeing in China. Cycling around it is one of the best ways to get a panoramic view of the lake. Local authorities have built a 150-km bicycle lane, which could well be the world's most beautiful route of its kind.
