#Palestinian-Israeli conflict
On Oct. 7, 2023, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) launched a new round of military operations called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel. This involved firing thousands of rockets and armed individuals entering Israel, engaging in clashes with Israeli troops. The Israeli military responded by launching military operations in the Gaza Strip. As of today, the latest round of the conflict between the Palestinians and Israelis persists.
China released a position paper on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on Nov. 30, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive ceasefire, effective protection of civilians, ensuring humanitarian assistance, enhancing diplomatic mediation and seeking political settlement.
