The eruption of Old Faithful, a cone geyser located at the Upper Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, US. Eruptions can shoot 3,700 to 8,400 US gallons (14,000 to 32,000 l) of boiling water to a height of 106 to 185 feet (32 to 56 m) lasting from 1.5 to 5 minutes. Intervals between eruptions is approximately 90 minutes. As the first national park in the world, Yellowstone National Park is well-known for its wildlife and many geothermal features.
