Encompassing 11.8 square kilometers, Daoxianghu Natural Wetland Park, is situated in Sujiatuo village, Haidian District, some 30 miles from downtown Beijing. It is financed by local farmers and is famous for its idyllic environment. Surrounded on three sides by hills, the park was established in 1984. With a 40-hectare natural lake as the centerpiece, the park is an ideal place for fishing.
