Yichun is a prefecture-level city on the Songhua river north of Tieli in Heilongjiang province in northeast China. The city is known for its large forest cover. The greening rate of Yichun is up to 83%. The nickname of Yichun is Lindu which means Forest Capital in Chinese Language.
