Photo taken on Jan. 9, 2013 shows a flowering palm tree at Singapore Botanic Gardens. This kind of palm trees normally have a life expectancy of 30 to 80 years. It only blossom once in its life and die after producing the seeds. The palm at Singapore Botanic Gardens has been lived for 80 years and recently blossomed with about 24 million flowers.
