Dechang's Lisu people live in family- or clan-based villages most of which locates on river valley slopes of around 1,500 to 3,000 meters above the sea level. They still practice a wedding tradition that has uncommon conventions including bridal face-shaving, outdoor wedding banquet and overnight group dance. [Xinhua/Jiang Hongjing]
