Hundreds of swans fly from Swan Lake in Bayanbulak to Korla
Swans take a rest on the Peacock River in Korla City, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Feb. 23, 2013. Hundreds of swans will fly from the Swan Lake in Bayanbulak, 400 kilometers away from Korla, to Korla every winter. To protect and attract more migratory birds, the local botanical garden department specially organizes a "Swan Guard" to feed birds here. [Xinhua]
