CHINA-JIANGXI-DONGLIN-BUDDHA STATUE (CN)

Photo taken on March 6, 2013 shows the entrance leading to the Donglin Buddha statue at the Donglin Temple in Xingzi County of Jiujiang City, east China's Jiangxi Province, March 6, 2013. The bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha, which is 48 meters in height, is believed to be the tallest of its kind in the world. The project, with the total cost of about 1 billion yuan (161 million U.S. dollars), has been basically completed. It was totally funded by private donations. [Xinhua/Song Zhenping]
