Jingdezhen, also known as Jingde Town, China's "Porcelain Capital", is a city of 1.58 million in Jiangxi Province in eastern China. It is one of the Four Great Towns in China, together with Foshan of Guangdong Province, Hankou of Hubei Province and Zhuxian of Henan Province. The history of producing porcelain can be traced back to the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD). Most people come here to see the ancient ceramics industry. Highly recommended scenic spots include Ceramic History and Culture Zone, Gaoling-Yaoli Scenic Area, Fuliang Ancient Government Office, Hongyan Scenic Area, Deyu Ecological Garden and China Porcelain Garden.
