ISRAEL-MOUNT CARMEL-CAVES-WORLD HERITAGE

picture taken on May 19, 2013, shows a reconstructed habitation of the Mousterian culture (about 100,000 to 40,000 B.C.) in Jamal Cave on the western slopes of the Mount Carmel range near Israeli northern city of Haifa. Sites of human evolution at Mount Carmel, including the caves of Tabun, Jamal, el-Wad and Skhul, were recognized as World Heritage Site by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in 2012.
