Harbin: Sanctuary against Heat [Photo: travel.sohu.com]

The temperate continental monsoon climate grants Harbin distinct, mild seasons. In summer, there is enough sunshine yet little heat and the temperature averages 23 degrees Celsius, though it would differ a lot between day and night. With pleasantly dry breezes gently brushing over scenic spots including Pine Peak and Erlongshan Diverse, Harbin has been given the name "the Pearl under the Swan's Neck".
