Inside the Shaanxi History Museum, a permanent exhibition is dedicated to displaying Tang Dynasty treasures excavated at Hejiacun, a southern suburban village in Xi'an, an ancient capital of China. The treasures were first discovered by construction workers digging the ground in Oct. 5, 1977, and archeologists found more nearby several days later. In total, more than 1000 cultural relics, all contained in pottery jars and a silver pot, were found in the village, and these treasures were later dated to the Tang Dynasty.[China.org.cn/ By Yuan Fang]
