Qi River is an ancient river situated in north China's Shanxi province. Back in the early Neolithic period, or 7,000 years ago, human beings have lived here, forming the unique Qihe culture.
Qi River stretches 161 kilometers with the basin area of 2,142 square kilometers and average annual runoff of 300 million cubic meters. It is also reputed for the beautiful landscape along the river.
