Ziquejie Terrace in Hunan province

At Ziquejie Terrace you can see layers upon layers of terraces mapped on the hills like green waves rolling among the mountains. Visitors seeing this view will be astonished that this was made by the ancient ancestors of the locals. Created during the Qin Dynasty (221 BC – 206 BC), Ziquejie Terrace spreads all over the hills at an altitude of 500 meters to 1,000 meters at Shuiche Town. The peak has an altitude of 1,585.2 meters. There are 80,000 mu of terrace altogether circling around Ziquejie Terrace.
