Local residents watch performance in rain at the opening ceremony of the 31st peach blossom tourism festival in Lanzhou, capital of northwest China's Gansu Province, April 20, 2014. The festival, which kicked off on the day of Guyu (Grain Rain), one of the 24 solar terms created by ancient Chinese to carry out agricultural activities according to position of sun at the zodiacal circle, will last until October.
