A man browses books at a stall on the Mutanabbi Street, Baghdad, Iraq, April 27, 2014. Mutanabbi Street, located near the old quarter of Baghdad, is the historic center of bookselling, a street filled with bookstores and outdoor book stalls. It was named after the 10th century classical Iraqi poet Al-Mutanabbi. The street has been often referred to as the heart and soul of the Baghdad literacy and intellectual community. Mutanabbi Street was rocked by a car bombing on in March 2007 when around 30 people were killed. The government closed the street after the bomb for one year and reopened it in 2008.
