Located near Lake Puma Yumco in Tibet, Tuiwa is the highest administrative village in the world. It sits at 5,070 meters above sea level, and its oxygen density is only half that of the majority of the Chinese mainland.
The neon light from the city does not reach the village, only the simple Tibetan lifestyle. The villagers are dependent wholly on livestock husbandry for their livelihoods.
