Longxi Township, located in northwest Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province, is a unique area where 98 percent of the population belongs to the Qiang ethnic group. The area around Longxi is therefore known as the "Qiang People Valley." The Qiang villages in the valley, which were badly damaged during the May 12 Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008, now takes on a new look after reconstruction. [Photo provided to China.org.cn]
