Semarang, a city on the north coast of the island of Java, Indonesia, was a port along maritime Silk Road. This city is named after the nickname "Sanbao" of Zheng He to commemorate his expedition.

Sam Po Kong Temple, known to locals as Gedong Batu Temple, is a folk museum built to honor Admiral Zheng He and the treasure voyages.

Sam Po Kong is home to several cultural relics including statue of Zheng He, Sam Po Temple and Kyai Jankar Temple.
