The photo shows an exhibit at the Mt. Xumi Museum in Guyuan in southern Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The mountains here, which sit at a vital pass on the eastern section of the ancient Silk Road, are famous for their Buddha Grottoes, which are among the top ten most famous grottoes in China.
