The tourist site of Changbai Mountain will not raise its admission ticket during the upcoming National Day holiday, and it will also offer a discount from November 1 to the end of April next year. This is no big news, but the site made headlines recently, as it almost became a case for tourist sites to adjusted prices ahead of a major public holidays.

A news report last month showed that many tourist attractions had raised their admission ticket prices ahead of October, although several other sites later stated to the media that they would not do that.

According to statics, the famous Changbai Mountian scenic area has not raised its price in the past three years and there is no separate price for peak season.

During the promotional period from November, local citizens of Jilin province can enjoy half price on the north section of the area, and a free pass on the west section.
