The Xilinguole Grassland, one of the world's largest grasslands, is located in the central area of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Its name means "river on hilly lands" in Mongolian.

Under the jurisdiction of Xilinhot city, Xilinguole grassland extends over an area of 10,786 square kilometers.

It has varied natural landscapes of mountains, hills, and river valleys, and is also home to many endangered species of wild animals and birds.

UNESCO placed it on its list of International Biosphere Reserves in 1987.

Its splendid natural scenery and unique grassland culture make it a popular destination for tourists and photographers.
