Litchi Bay, or Lizhiwan, is a famous tourist attraction in southern China's Guangzhou known for its long history as a center of culture, art, and learning. There are many historical relics and historical buildings in Litchi Bay, including the Wenta Pavillion and Xiguan Houses built in characteristic regional style. The area is also well-known for its many traditional foods. It can be said that Litchi Bay is one of the birthplaces of Guangzhou culture. The elegant Litchi Bay was once the gathering place of countless merchant princes, scholars and common people. (China.org.cn by Su Jian)
