Wolong Temple is located on Baishulin Street, Beilin District, Xi'an, capital of China's Shaanxi Province. According to the stele in the temple, it was first built during Lingdi years (AD 168-189), Han Dynasty, more than 1,800 years ago.The temple kept a painting of Guanyin drew by Wu Daozi in Tang Dynasty, so it was also called "Guanyin Temple". It was renamed Wolong Temple during Taizong's years (976-997), Song Dynasty. [China.org.cn]
