Jinli Ancient Street is one of the oldest and busiest streets in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan province. This street, which is only 350 meters long, was one of the busiest commercial areas during the Shu Kingdom (221-263). Hence, it is known as the 'First Street of the Shu Kingdom'. Visitors from all over China and abroad gather here to relax, admire the traditional-style buildings, and taste some local snacks. (Huang Jin/People's Daily Online)
