Photo taken on July 29 shows an ancient wall by the river channel from Padua to Venice in Padua, Italy. Padua, a city in the Veneto, northern Italy, just 30 kilometres away from Venice, is a modern and renaissance city. Padua is considered a great city of water, along the historical route of the ancient Venetian river channel of the 18th century. People can still travel from Padua to Venice by boat, and enjoy the monumental aspect of Padua and the Villas of the Brenta river. The city is also famous for its frescoes, which can date back from 12th century to 14th century.(xinhua/Jin Yu)
