The Guangzhou Yuan Building, also known as the Copper Coin Building because of its shape and color, stands near the Pear River in Guangzhou city, South China’s Guangdong province, Aug 13, 2015. The 33-story building is 138 meters high and has a total area of 105,000 square meters. The structure, 146.6 meters in diameter, is said to be the world’s largest round piece of architecture. It’s inspired by the Gong, a traditional musical percussion instrument, and ancient jade discovered in Guangzhou. (Photo: China News Service/Liu Jiao)
