Chinese chrysanthemum earns its place in Guinness Book of World Records

Visitors take pictures for a multiflorous chrysanthemum that containing the largest number of chrysanthemum species in Kaifeng, Central China’s Henan province on October 18, 2015. The multiflorous chrysanthemum is 3.8 meters in diameter and composed of 641 different types of chrysanthemums grafted to southernwood. It was certified for the Guinness Book of World Records on Sunday. It took about four years to cultivate the plant, which now has more than 1,500 flowers blossoming at one time.(Photo: China News Service/ Wang Zhongju)
