An image resembling a huge wolf appeared on the facade of the No. 1 Glacier Cascade in Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park, Sichuan Province on the morning of November 22, wowing spectators on the scene.

The marvelous spectacle goes viral on China's social media, inlcuding Tencent's WeChat and Sina Weibo. The image, temporarily dubbed "Wolf Totem," is a spectacular natural scene formed when streaks of sunshine mingle with clouds to leave a projection on the snow mountain's side, according to the preliminary survey. It can be observed with the naked eye on a clear day after rain or snow.

Hao Kangli, director of Sichuan Provincial Tourism Adminstration, is soliciting name for the breathtaking spectacle online.

Hailuogou, located on the eastern side of Gonggar Mountain in Luding County of Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, is well-known for its typical low-altitude modern marine glaciers.

The park boasts abundant tourism resources, including magnificent glacier cascades, virgin forests and hot springs.
