Buddha statues in one of the caves at the Longmen Grottoes, a world cultural heritage site near Luoyang city in Central China's Henan province,September 3, 2016. Longmen Grottoes site has more than 2,300 grottoes with 110,000 Buddhist figures and images, more than 80 dagobas and 2,800 inscribed tablets, all were created between the Northern Wei (386-557) and Song (960-1279) dynasties. Longmen grottoes represent the finest examples of Chinese Buddhist art. The site was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as "an outstanding manifestation of human artistic creativity" in 2000. (Photo/Xinhua)
