NW China's ancient jujube garden better protected

A villager walks in an ancient jujube garden in Nihegou Village of Jiaxian County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, Sept. 7, 2016. The garden has more than 1,100 trees, with some over 1,000 years old. The orchard was put on the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) list by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 2014 for its innovative and sustainable system.
