3. Jiuzhaigou

Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jiuzhaigou is well worth visiting any time of the year. In autumn, though, it features ocher leaves beside its famous emerald lakes and rainbow-like prayer flags.

Entry: 220 yuan/person (April1st– Nov.15th); 80 yuan/person (Nov. 16th– March31st)

Opening hours: 07:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m. (April1st– Nov.15th); 08:30 a.m. – 06:00 p.m. (Nov.16th– March31st)
