Located in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Tianchi Lake is an alpine lake and world nature heritage site on the north side of Bogda Mountain, which is part of the Tianshan Mountains. In Chinese mythology, Tianchi Lake is an abode of the immortals.
