The 77-year-old Daiqie (L) with ethnic facial tattoo chats with 73-year-old Li Wenshi in Dizhengdang Village of Dulongjiang Township, southwest China's Yunnan Province, Nov. 23, 2016. Dulongjiang Township is home to people of Dulong ethnic group. Due to abominable natural conditions, the local economy was undeveloped in the past. After years of development, roads have been paved and modern dwelling houses built to replace thatch-covered houses. The rural medical insurance has covered 98 percent of the villagers and all school-age children have received education at school. The average earnings per year of a resident rose from less than 900 RMB (130 U.S. dollars) some 10 years ago to 3,503 RMB (506 U.S. dollars) in 2015. (Photo/Xinhua)
