Dujiangyan City in southwestern China’s Sichuan Province is not only famous for the world cultural heritage site, the Dujiang Weir, but also for the pandas’ habitat, which is listed as one of the world’s natural heritage sites. It is a popular tourist resort in summer when the average temperature is 26.2℃ (79.1℉) and air and water quality rarely fails to meet the highest national standard. In addition, the coverage rate of forests and planting respectively in the city reaches 59.6% and 43%. [China.org.cn]
