Visitors observe exhibitions at the Shanghai World Expo Museum. The Shanghai World Expo Museum opened to the public on May 1, 2017. Admission is free of charge. Covering an area of 40,000 square meters, the museum is located on the former Shanghai Expo site in Puxi, downtown Shanghai. As the first museum dedicated specifically to world expos, the Shanghai World Expo Museum explores the history of world expos since their inception in 1851. Over 3,000 exhibits from expos held between 2010 and 2015 are displayed in eight different exhibition halls. (Photo: China News Service/ Tang Yanjun)
