The China Aviation Museum is located about 64-kilometers north of Central Beijing at the foot of Xiaotang Hill (Xiaotang Shan) in Changping County. On November 11, 1989, it was opened to the public for the 40th Anniversary of the Founding of Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The museum has collected more than 200 airplanes of more than 100 types, along with weapons and equipped samples such as ground-to-air missiles, high cannons, radar, aviation bombs and aviation cameras.[China.org.cn/Photo by Dong Qingpei]
