For a great way to celebrate a bright summer day with friends and family you could hardly do better than going to the countryside where China's breathtaking beauty is on full display. Tea gardens, and bamboo trees meet seemingly endless mountain ranges creating an idyllic summer scene in southern China. While in the North, the volume of water in the Hukou falls is at its peak thanks to the recent rains, creating a formidable view of the Yellow River. Summer is also a good time to explore China's vast grasslands, when they are at their most verdant.
