Covering an area of 20 square kilometers, Miaofeng Mountain is the highest peak that is closest for Beijing visitors. Known for its ancient temples, weird pine trees and strange rocks, the scenic area is 50 kilometers from downtown Beijing. With forest coverage above 90 percent, you can enjoy the great view and fresh air, and the largest rose plantation in North China, which is about 6.6 square kilometers.

Miaofeng Mountain Scenic Area is located in Mentougou District of Beijing along the No. 109 state highway. The scenic area is known for its ancient temples, weird pine trees and rocks, and the main peak of the mountain is 1,291 meters above sea level, and this is the highest peak standing closest to Beijing.
